Export Assessment Process

How we move from your first inquiry to a delivered readiness report — with clear checkpoints and no open-ended retainers.

Every assessment follows the same backbone: confirm scope, collect documents, analyze against destination requirements, deliver findings, and support implementation questions. The pace adapts to your product complexity, but the sequence does not change.

This process applies to our flagship Export Readiness Assessment and informs shorter engagements such as documentation review.

Export advisors reviewing shipment documentation

Scoping conversation

We confirm target market, product categories, prior export history, and timeline expectations. You receive a written scope summary and fee confirmation before work begins. No document collection starts until both parties agree.

Document intake

Your team submits product specifications, existing certifications, sample labels, draft contracts, and correspondence with overseas parties. We provide a checklist tailored to your market and product type. Intake typically spans five to seven business days.

Stakeholder sessions

We meet with operations, finance, and sales leads — on-site in Taipei or at your facility, or via video conference. These sessions clarify production constraints, labeling decisions, and partner selection criteria that documents alone do not reveal.

Analysis and draft review

Advisors compare your materials against destination regulations, typical buyer requirements, and common border hold causes for your product category. Draft findings are shared for factual correction before the final report is written.

Report delivery

You receive a written readiness report with prioritized actions, compliance checklist, and suggested timeline. We present findings to decision-makers in a scheduled session and leave time for questions on implementation sequencing.

Follow-up support

One follow-up call within thirty days covers questions that arise as your team begins acting on recommendations. Additional support is available through separate engagements — documentation review, customs advisory, or market entry planning.
